Noooooon! Noooooo!
| |
| Panic is slowly starting to set in - it's end of February and the building is still not water tight! All windows have been fitted a while ago but delays with the front door mean that we are still working in a damp atmosphere and this is really not helping... The beautiful T&G ceiling in the Bergerie is starting to bow and we can only hope that it will all settle back once the room is finally sealed and heated. But tonight, more bad news. It seems the roof is leaking (we spotted a few damp patches on the stone wall) and water is slowly but most definitely running along the ceiling... Why does this always have to happen at the weekend?! There is nothing to do but to wait for Monday when our builders will get a rather early morning call! |
